Understanding the origin of BSODs

  1. Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> System -> Critical

Read Minidumps

  4. Update all yours Drivers (from Windows Update if you are in 11, or use Driver Booster or other)
  5. Update your motherboard
  6. Checked for virus and malware with Kaspersky or other

  8. Disable from auto start Armory Crate, Razer Synapse, and all other useless
  9. If you can, test on a fresh Windows install on a other disk
  10. Use DDU in safe mode (hold shift when restart) to remove Graphic drivers, then install lastest version

Hardware check

  1. Clean the dust
  2. Check that everything is connected properly
  3. If you're using a riser to vertically mount your GPU, make sure its PCIe version matches that of your CPU and GPU; otherwise, remove it
  4. If you're using extension cables for your PSU, make sure they aren't modded cables, otherwise, remove them

Hardware tests

  1. If you have, change your CPU thermal pad
  2. If you have, change your CPU
  3. If you have, change your GPU
  4. If you have, change your PSU
  5. If you have, change your RAM

  1. Do not attempt to use 1st generation compatible cables with 2nd generation PSUs or vice-versa
